Prof. Kun Cao, Jinan University
Kun Cao received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, in 2020. In the same year, he was nominated for the Shanghai Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award by the Shanghai Computer Society. He is currently an Associate Professor at the College of Cyber Security, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. His research interests include edge computing and cyber-physical systems security. He has published 40+ refereed papers in these fields, with the majority appearing in leading conferences and journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Computing, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and ACM Computing Surveys. Dr. Cao received the Young Professional Award from IEEE Technical Committee on Secure and Dependable Measurement in 2022, as well as two Best Paper Awards at IEEE ICITES 2022 and IEEE iThings 2020. He has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers (SCI-indexed), and Computing Open.
